The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH started its cooperation with the ICGLR in 2006.  Since 2012, GIZ has supported the ICGLR jointly with the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The African Minerals and Geosciences Centre (AMGC)

The African Minerals and Geosciences Centre (AMGC) formerly known as SEAMIC (Southern and Eastern African Mineral Centre), is an independent continental centre of knowledge and information for the African continent established in 1977 under the umbrella of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). Founder Member States are Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. Membership is open to all other African countries particularly ICGLR Member States who are not yet members.
